We are so very pleased to announce the hiring of two staff members:
Julia Brigolin joins us as Social Media & Marketing Assistant. She is working toward becoming a Creative Writing Teacher at Western Washington University. Besides playing the trombone for almost a decade and being a relentless cat lover, she enjoys thinking, writing, and creating stories in her head (and sometimes even writing them down). Above all, she loves experiencing life. As the Social Media & Marketing Assistant for this illustrious Orchestra, she looks forward to collecting and spreading the tales that lie behind the curtain after it falls.
We also welcome Shachaf Zahavy-Mittelman as our Operations Manager | Librarian. Shachaf is a recent graduate from Western Washington University, having earned a bachelor's in music (voice, oboe, trombone, and mellophone) and linguistics. Her passion lies in all things backstage, with much of her experience coming from stage and production management both in Washington and abroad. When she isn't working a show, she's out watching them. She is delighted to be part of this orchestral family and looks forward to continuing to bring education and joy to the community through music.
