Sponsorship Information

North Sound Youth Symphony was established in 1993 to provide an opportunity for band and orchestra students ages 9 to 22 to unite in a full symphony orchestra with strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion. In cooperation with the WWU Department of Music, we complement, support and extend the musical offerings in public schools. NSYS has two performance levels: Symphony, for advanced students and Philharmonia, for intermediate  students.

NSYS is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization and your contribution is tax deductible. Your donations allow us to maintain low tuition levels (less than $15 per rehearsal per student) and to provide scholarship assistance so that no student is turned away for financial reasons.

Donor: ($525+) Equivalent to full-year tuition for a student musician who cannot otherwise pay.

Supporter: ($300+) Pay for a WWU student sectional coach for one session (fall, winter or spring).

• Business card size program advertisement and on stage acknowledgement for full concert season

Contributor: (up to $300)

• All contributions are welcome and appreciated. All contributors giving more than $100 will be listed in our concert programs for the full season.
