Anthony McGill

Learn about a day in the life of soloist New York Philharmonic Principal Clarinetist Anthony McGill!

Watch this video to learn about a day in the life of Anthony during the NY Philharmonic’s summer festival in Vail.

As You Listen…

  • What does the conductor tell the wind soloists during rehearsal?
  • What does Anthony do during the day?
  • Does Anthony just play in the concert, or does he watch part of it too?
  • Have you ever watched an outdoor concert? What was that experience like, or what do you imagine it would be like?

We are very excited to share his music with you! Anthony will be our soloist at our March concert. Click here to learn more, get sneak peaks, and find out how you can watch. Remember - on concert days, watching is FREE!
